here is the URL of the diagram. The snap ring is number 3 on the diagram

thats not a snap ring..thats a C-clip.it fits in a grove on the diff.sometimes it takes 2 people 1 to yank on cv shaft and 1 to use a prybar at the diff

welcome to the forum, as far as 2 ppl to yank it, i do it fine by myself... one handed, sometimes i switch it up but never lose a stroke....
