I am referring to a comparison with newish bikes. I just happen to own a 2000 Kodiak which is my only frame of reference.

I'm looking at buying a newer Grizz vs. a newer Rincon and just trying to get some feedback...

I have four buddies that are running Grizzlies,

In my area you can't help but to do some rock crawling and I've
been able to go everywhere they have despite not having a locker

A few things that I really like about my Rincon as compared to
the Grizzly, Low center of gravity this is important to me in almost
every situation especially mountain switchbacks that used to be mule
trails in the mining day's. Shaft drive, we've all seen what happens
when they are wet however I've also seen a few start smoking going
up steep off camber bolder infested hills as well as dried up river beds
and wash's and one time in some quick sand that I even was stuck in

One other thing is that two of my buddies have had some issues with
cracks in the frame on their Grizzlies
