Default 07 Honda Rincon No Horsepower help

Hi guys i picked up a sweet looking 07 honda rincon for 3k it was one of them deals that was to good to be true Anyway when i called the dude who sold it i asked him what all was wrong and he told me it run good but had a busted rear wheel bearing and thats all that needed to be replaced so i went and bought and it did have a bad bearing i could'nt relly test drive it so i bought it cause it was a good deal so i thought it came with 2" lift 27" outlaw mud tires a HMF OPTIMIZER and snorkl kit and custom excust. So i get it home and check the oil and ill be damned if it didnt have water in it. so i did a few oil changes and got it clean and it drives alright dosent smoke or anything but i went to go up this moderate hill and it would not go it just bog down and this is a 680cc my 425cc rancher had no problem on it. So then i knew something is terrible wrong with it and see why the jackwagon sold it so cheap. So any way i dont know what it could be but it almost seems like it dosent shift gears its got the ES shift and auto transmission which i hate for this reason so i dont know if thats the problem or what. I also noticed the water resvar is empty. and dont know where it went or how to fill it up. You guys have any idea what it could be and how to fix it?

Might've been coolant in the oil rather than water. First step is get the coolant replaced and see if the level stays up or drops. Or ideally pressure test the cooling system first if you've got the equipment to do it.

Does it seem to be doggy on flat ground (normal riding) also? If so then I would start with checking the cam shaft.

To fill the reservoir tank just remove the black cover under the handlebars and you will see the lid for the tank.

I added water to the coolint and it seems to be staying in there it didnt go in the oil. It seems to ride alright on flat ground. Could i do a compression test on it like on a car? that could tell me if its loseing compression. And if so what psi sould it be reading at. I went by honda they said it could be a number of things such as the pistion rings and so on. they told me to drop it off and they will check it out.
