look on pg 5 it showes 2 cyl but its inline not a v-twin hmmmmm!

I would not get too excited.....if you read WAY toward the end it says may have a single Piston....sounds like a rubi to me it was submitted in 2006

Not a rubicon because it has IRS.For sure this quad was, at one point in a prototype stage.

Nothing like a Rubi. Stator is on the rear of the motor and the clutch is on the front of a Rubi. The "innovative" claim in the patent is the opposite.

The patent bike appears to have a torque converter and auto tranny. If it ever makes it to production it'll likely be an upgrade to the Rincon.

Can you say......... Hondamatic hydraulic transmission.

it was a cool read though, I love learning new stuff, even if most of it is old!

The transmission in that bike is definitely not a Hondamatic CVT like the Rubi has. Appears to be a car like auto tranny with a torque converter and gears similar to what the Rincon has now.
