Default Custom Aluminum Bumper

Thought I would share some pics of the custom aluminum bumper my dad made for his 650 Rincon. In the near future he will be making one for the rear, which incorporates a 3000lb Smitty Built winch.

We are contemplating the possibility of selling these, not sure about it yet.

Enjoy!

We aren't really sure. What would you be willing to pay for it?

I think if you were in the $150 - $200 range you could see decent sales from it. It looks nice and has room for options. I think you could clean up the winch mount and add some D-ring tabs to it and have a winner. I would also think about a none winch style too. You could improve your design so that it can be utilized for both and the winch plate added if needed.

It's not heavy since it is all aluminum. We did not weight it because it was built on the bike, but 20-25 lbs at most.

Light guards could be added for those interested.

Not sure what you mean by overrides?

We have another one on a 680 with winch fair leads mounted on the front plate. It looks much cleaner and keeps the winch line out of the plate. I'll have to post up some pictures.

The fair lead on this bumper is mounted on the backside of the plate. Does a good job of keeping the line of the plate but maybe doesn't look as clean.
