if your Dad could see the back of one of these AP Bash Plates it would help clean up the look of the winch mount, I love the way mine is set up its slightly kicked in, making it more flush with the BP & works just Great!

and see what I was talking about with the U-bolts, I had went to their site and viewed how they (Your's) is set up, and still think its going to cause problems, but to each their own.......but to clean it up (reverse the bolts) all you would need is what 4 flat U-bolts and 4 metal conduit straps to go over the A-arms!

BTW: only offering a different point of view!

It took me a couple minutes to understand what U-bolts you were talking about, so I went back to my pics and now I see what the issue is....those U-bolt you are seeing under the quad are not part of the bumper mount. They are part of the plow mount on his quad and yes they do cause problems.

I might have mixed you up with one of the other guys!

I was referring to the A-arm Guards that one of the members just installed and was just trying to explain that by flipping over the U-bolts and putting the nuts on the inside of the A-arm cover it would allow the Quad to slide over obstacle's and not get hung up on them with the nuts hanging down.

But I did see on the Manufacturers web site that they installed them nut side on the out side of the A-arm guard ......bad design me thinks ,but we all have different opinions!

but oh well... still like the bumbers, Ive done quite a bit of building things myself!

Best of Luck to you & your Dad!
