Default lost key - now what??

Hi guys, so my daughter lost the key to my Rincon yesterday. I went out to change the oil(previous thread) and no key. So now what? I bought the bike second hand and he only had one key. I dont have the key number. So how do I get the bike started? I am going riding for the weekend leaving Friday morning.

Anybody know how to bypass the ignition?
I am sure I can not get a replacement tomorrow.

Thanks Mort

(Yes I know you don't believe it was my daughter that lost the key!)

Call a local Honda dealer and tell them the model and vin #
More than likely they "should" be able to cut you a new one or get you one soon

Interesting topic - think the VIN can identify the key as long as they hadn't changed the ignition before. I can see myself trying to hotwire my quad for a planned weekend ride too....so if someone knows, PM gmen. Basically, don't want to let that knowledge escape to the ATV thieves.

Wait a minute. You didn't steal it did ya? You have to pass the secret Red Wing Rider quiz before getting the answer. What's the best quad color?

Just teasing....I do hope you find a solution before your weekend ride.

There should be two wires going to the key switch just take those two wires and plug them together and it will fire right up. Just remember when u cut the quad off the dash lights will stay on(such as netural light). Hope this helps u.
