Default Synthetic oils?

My new 2011 rincon is due for its 1st oil change, my cousin swears by Amsoil synthetic in his quads, i never used Amsoil before, what do you guys think? I read on here somewhere that the rincon should be overfilled, if so, how much? Thanks in advance.

Amsoil is a great oil in alot of things but honestly the best oil for your machine would be GN-4.

Funny you mention gn-4 because i was at the dealer today and i was considering the gn-4 synthetic, but i wanted to wait and see what you guys recommended. What part of Penn. are you from? Us guys from baltimore ride off of I-81 in minersville, Pa.

Im near pittsburgh..... about 4hrs away from ya. GN-4 is pretty much what alot of guys on here run. Especially for the hondamatic in the rubicon, its the only oil you should run. But you cant go wrong with it.

I've been running AmsOil for years, I love it.
I'll use it for anything but New Engine break in. Never had an issue just have differnt stuff I use for break in, depending on application!
I've used it in 3 Differnt Trucks with 50k each at least on AmsOil, My other summer toy-Trans am, Quads, sleds, Generators. I'm also useing there, Power Steering, ATF, Gear lube, Chain lube, Etc...

I'd rather run sand in my motor than Amsoil. GN-4 all the way. Just my opinion.

Chrisb, what do you mean RAC? It's exit #116 off of I-81 minersville, but we make the left off the exit towards schmokin. I've heard that the property is owned by a coal mining company.

I run AMSOIL in every piece of equipment i have including my 2006 Rancher. It's excellent oil. Im sure GN-4 is good too but Honda's top race teams even run AMSOIL in their bikes. Thats gotta tell ya something about AMSOIL.
