Default New Rincon owner carb mod ?

So I'm sure this has been posted a lot, but I have a question about the carb spring mod. After reading up on the mod and how to cut 11 coils or whatever, I also heard the the 03, or some 03's, may already have a shorter spring... anyone know if this is the case? Don't want to hack off too much. Or what should the total length be after the mod? thanks.

I did my 2009 rubicon and it made a little bit of difference. Not more power just didn't hesitate as much when you punched it. I don't know much about Rincons but someone else will help I'm sure.

just a note; i did the carb spring mod this past weekend. I cut off 11 coils. Made a big difference in throttle response on the rincon. Good stuff for a 5 minute mod!
