okay so tonight i removed all racks and used a chemical an old timer told me to use called Aircraft paint remover. It did the trick w/o harming the plastic AT ALL. got all the camo from under stock decals off, got rid of ther little black specs. The only thing I'll have to work on tomorrow with elbow grease is the very back which would be under the rack. Just a few small black specs. I will have to do very little wet sanding on the nose with some 2500 or finer paper to get rid of some very small scratched i put on it wet sanding with 600 in some tough to reach spots.

After that and with a proper waxing with a buffer i'm confident it'll be camo free 100% and just as shiny as new bare plastic.

IMO after seeing what I have witnessed with the difficulty of removing the camo under any stock decals and under the stock rack considering I run a tail bag all the time is obviously UV from the sun has something to do with the camo failure also. I never pressure washed the top side and never used harsh chemicals

Since the rear has always been covered with a tail bag it was the hardest to get off but i got it done. The rest peeeld off like wet toilet paper with ease.

Goo Gone, WD40, Purple Power and several other chemicals I tried had ZERO effect on it. The most success came with paint brush cleaner{mineral spirits} with some elbow grease and the be all end all was the Aircraft paint stripper.

I'm so OCD on the this project I actually took a day off from work to finish this all up tomorrow as I plan on repainting the racks and some other stuff since I'm this far into it.
