Default Valve adjustment

I have a 2007, 680 Honda Rincon. I purchased the service manual and was trying to do a valve adjustment. The manual shows an "index mark" on the crank case to aline the T on the crank shaft. I cannot locate the the "index mark" as shown in the manual. Any help would be appreciated.

Put your finger over the spark plug hole and feel for the compression stroke. Once it starts blowing your finger off use a pen or anything soft to feel the piston come up to tdc. After a couple times you'll find tdc and then look through the hole with a light and you will see the marks.
