Default Bike making loud noise

So I think the tensioner is bad or my timing chain is stretched out from what I read. Its quiet at low rpms but at high rpms, It makes a very loud ticking noise. Bike is an 07 with about 1100 miles on it. Does anyone have any info before I tear my bike down?

Try setting the valve clearances.
I just did it to my '02 450 and it sounds and acts like a new bike.
And mine wasn't even a loud ticking as you describe.
It's a pretty simple procedure and I had never done it before and was finished in just over an hour.
