Default Need Help Please!!

Alright so we bought a brand new Rincon in 2005 and it ran up till last summer when it started getting hot one day from us doing lawn work (so it would sit for a bit while running) anyway I drove it down the road and back to give it some air to cool it some more, then I parked it. The next day it had a super rough start which I found odd but it ran so I just didnt think far into it but it wasnt really wanting to shift nicely that day so I ran it home and parked it. Then that night we wanted to look at it so we tried to start it and it turned off and then when we tried to start it again it wouldnt. So the next day we did it again and the atv did it again so we timed it and it took exactly one min before it shut off idk if that helps but i just want to fix this without having to rush it to our local repair shop and drop a couple hundred.

Oh and we went through the fuel lines thinking it could be that nothing is wrong with those from what we see and the carb is just fine we checked that too.

Check the vent line on the gas cap, it might be plugged or partially plugged. If it's running hot check the coolant levels and make sure the radiator isn't plugged. Like martdog said do a compression test to make sure everything is good there.

Welcome to the forum.
