Default About to buy a Rincon..Thoughts on setup plz.

well I'm getting ready to purchase a 2011 Rincon and have pretty much everything I want for it lined out and here's what I got for a starters list...

2011 Rincon
Hot cam & Gear reduction
2" Lift, 28" or 29.5" outlaws
ITP SS106 14" wheels
Bayou Snorkel kit
F.I. controller/programmer
Stick stoppers

I knew about the issue as far as the bike not having a low enough gear to really turn anything bigger than a 28" in the sticky stuff, so the gear reduction was 1st on my list of "goodies" to get...any other input/help/suggestions would be appreciated...

I must be getting old, I was sitting here thinking about what I would do with a new honda, I think I would keep it bone stock, ride it nice and cuddle with it at night. LOL

Forget the cam and do the BRGR (BigRed Gear Reduction). Everything else sounds good if your happy with it.

I never had any luck with the Hot Cams and will not recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for that bit of info, didn't know about that lil swap.... My dad was a Honda Mechanic for about 15yrs and he looked at it and said "Piece of cake"

think we have opted to go with a Mudbusters cam over the hot cam, with an HMF exhaust....
