Default transmission question.....

buddy of mine has a rincon he a a 3in with 29.5s hmf jet kit and intake. we had a gear reduction installed in the bike and then took it for a ride... about 2 miles into the ride the trans started slipping really bad if u put it under anytype of load.... it would barely pull itself up a hill.... so i guess my question is... do you think the shop who installed the gear redution messed something up... or did the converter or pump just happen to go out at the same time.... what do yall think?

Check the engine oil first.
The engine and transmission use the same lubrication system on the Rincon.
Also...the factory dipstick is wrong...you need to fill it to about 1/8" above the full line on the dipstick.

And...make sure that the oil was replaced with the correct viscosity.
if the oil is too thin,or the level is too low...it will cause the transmission to slip.
