Default New rincon owner, need help please!

Just bought a rincon today and I'm having a few problems. It is idled real high and I'm afraid Im gonna tear the trans up, does anyone know where the carb screw is? Also it feels like it doesn't have much power, It will only run 49 top speed. It has a lot more in it too it's just not putting out, I read about an ECM possibly needing to be reset? Also can someone tell me what the valves need to be set to? I'm digging into it tomorrow putting 27's, wheels, disc brakes, and filter on it. Eventually there will be a lot more. Thanks guys.

Default Rincon

Did you buy it new. I had the same problem was only getting about 50 mph out of it I changed the oil at 100 miles like it said in the book and bam 55 to 56. The more you ride it the better it seems to get. As far as the valve's Iv'e owned Hondas all my life and never once ajusted them. Even my Honda dealer said keep the oil and fitler changed regular and just ride it. I've always had good luck with Honda's.

what year is it if it is a fi unit the very high idle is caused by a defective IAC valve located on top of the fi unit 2 tamper proof torx screws hold it on replace the valve or you can try cleaning but cleaning it is temporary fix also rincons are real touchy about oil levels it should a 1/8 inch over the full mark for the trans to work it's best
