O7 Rubicon 500 4x4
Hello everyone,
Newbee to the sight and have found it very informing and interesting. I recently purchased my 07 rubicon with 654hrs, 6500 miles, recently started getting the dreaded code 5 and have gotten info from here to clear codes and reset tranny. It works as a temporary fix but i know it will come again. I am a Diesel tech ASE certified so i am mechanically inclined just not financially, so i plan to do everything i can myself. Any help i can get will be greatly appreciated. If anyone could help with a free link or service manual for my 07 Rubicon 500 would be great start.

one of the guys will post a link shortly for your machine, i dont have one the 05 and up didnt have the tranny issues so dont get too wound up.

2007 rubicon 500
Alright guys have started tearing into my Rubi, got side covers and tank plastics off. have cleaned several connectors including Angle sensor plug and put a ample amount of dielectric grease on these connectors. Problem is now it almost instantly goes into limp mode with code 5 showing as soon as i put it in gear, Any Ideas what to do, i asume that this has to be a electrical problem for sure now. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!!!
