Default Ok guys I need some expierenced advise.... Quick!!!!!

have a guy wanting to trade me an 06 rubicon with 6900 miles. The bike looks amazing.( i have not actually placed my hands on it , just seen pics. )the guy says there is no noises in the motor and it shifts fine. My question is at how many miles on it should I be concerned with tranny problems and oil pump problems. Ive owned a 2002 rubicon and love how they ride , but the tranny went out of it and its got me a little leary on them as i know they are not servicable as far as rebulding. just dont want to get it if they are notorious for going bad at say 7500 miles. help, what do I do.

There is a guy here with over 10 k miles on his , if you like like an ape ya I'd be worried if not with maintenance they can last but at that high range things do wear out blame Murphy when you see the bike ride it see how it feels and get a good price

They updated the transmission, oil pump and computer (ECU) in 05 and that pretty much took care of all the transmission problems. I have customers out there with well over 15,000 miles on them and they are still going strong. If it checks out you should be good to go.
