Default Aftermarket Radiator fan ???

I dont feel like replacing the radiator cooling fan with another OEM my bike has run really hot a bunch of times and while I was trying to take off the stock fan 2 of the 3 I believe bolts broke so I'm thinking about just popping off the last remaining and replace it with an aftermarket puller just to be cheap... hopefully find something that is fairly well sealed as I like to find deep water to take my baby.. I searched everywhere and haven't seen anyone doing this .. any ideas ??

did you even test that fan to see if the fan was bad or the temp sensor or computer? usually the fans are fine

pretty sure the fan is shot, takes a good spin by hand to get it moving and it barely spins like it used too I think I'm going to rip it out this weekend and try to size it up to some generic aftermarket ones and just wire it back into the stock harness but with an override toggle switch to kill it when we go swimming !!!

I have taken the fan motor apart before and cleaned them. They work like new after that. You have to drill a couple rivets and bend a few tabs but not a bad job.

ToooDeep the fixing would work fine but I've heated up my bike so many times I'm sure its weakened the bolts that hold that bracket to the radiator I already sheared off I think 2 of the 3, so even if I could fix it I'm willing to bet that 3rd bolt is going to shear off here in a bit when I get to it today !
