Default transmission problems?

i have a 2001 500 rubicon. when i put it in drive it displays d1,d2 and esp all at the same time on the screen and makes a grinding noise like 2 gears slipping but goes away if given gas but stuck in like 1st gear cant shift gears manualy. when put in low it works fine. does this sound like transmission problems or bad sensor

thanks for any help

check your oil pressure before you do anything.. might only be bad oil pump or chain jumped. DO NOT run it till you check the pressure because if its oil pressure you wont be getting any oil to the top of your motor..

there is a small allen plug on the left side of the motor, remove it and hook up a oil pressure gauge. do a search in the rubicon section to find the correct pressure or check your manual because i dont remember the correct pressure but it is quite high.
