Default New Digital Meter Panel, Won't Shift Now

I just hooked up a new digital meter panel (gauge cluster) on my Rubicon. Now when I turn the key on D1 D2 and ESP just flash. The knob was in D2 before I took it apart and is in D2 now. It won't let me switch from D2 to D1 or ESP. It also feels like it's not shifting out of first gear in D2. Anybody know what I messed up?

Maybe try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it?

Disconnecting the battery didn't work. I'm looking in the service manual for instructions on how to do the reset, but can't find it. Anybody know where it is or can you guys tell me how to do the reset?

Ok, I found how to reset the ECM on another site when I did a Google search. I hold the up & down button in, turn the key and immediately release up and down button. I then hit up down up. I turn the key off. Then I hold the up and down button in, turn the key again and immediately release the up and down button. Then hold in the up & down button again until it clears out. I've gotten it to clear out a few times, but then it will pop-up D1 N then D1 D2 and ESP will start flashing again, but flashing a lot slower than before. After doing this a few times it also stopped stuttering when I put it in reverse, but then the stutter came back. Am I doing the reset right or is there something I'm missing? I followed the pigtail from the selector knob to the connector and it is plugged in good. The connectors for the new Digital Meter Panel are also plugged in good.

I have 10 flashes, pause, 10 flashes, pause... so from what the service manual is telling me, I have a faulty PCM. WTF? It ran fine before I put it up on jack stands to put the 424 in and put the new Digital Meter Panel.

Is there anything else that could possibly be causing it to throw this code besides the ECM being fried?
