have you ran the vin # at all?? there are numbers on the motor as well that can help with what year it is Quote:

The rims on your machine are date coded that should give you an idea of the year unless they have been switched out?
04 ruby rims are rolled edge like the Rincon where as the 01 my buddy has are the flanged edge type. And lastly the 04 rubicon decals have a yellow outline where as the 01 dont. Hope this helps?
