I wanted to put a few mods on my new to me 07 camo rubicon. It only has wheels and tires right now. I mostly will be in trails and mud. Where would be a good place to start. Thanks alot

welcome to the forum.

these are a couple things that would be nice for your rubicon to have.

3rd headlight switch- 3rd headlight installation diagram

maybe a lift kit too- Ssatv plus lift installation pics

this is a handy storage compartment- cheep pvc storage compartment

do you do any deep mud or water??

post some pics of your quad if you got any.

Lift kit.. and wheel spacers to keep the stability and give you a n edge on deep ruts from irs machines... pipe, K&N air filter, and rejet and i'd be happy.

A winch would probably be the best thing to do first.

rich450es you are on the right track man. I only have one key right now and left it in my jeans and forgot where it was. I was freaking pretty bad untill my fiance came carrying it and said you might need this. That storage idea is amazing, not much storage on the atv. I def. want to get a winch 1st then get a air filter. Does the uni have the outer wear? Im use to sport quads, this is my 1st utility. Pipes and rejett to follow after that. Im on a path now thanks everyone.

you shouldn't need the outer wear on a foam filter. just make sure its lightly oiled.

i'll highly recommend the KFI 3000lbs winch. its gave me alot of good service so far and they are priced really good.

well thanks for the kind words !
if your going to do a exhaust and air filter do them all at once so you jet once and get it done and over with
on the winch i always say "you get what you pay for " especely if you ride by yourself. take a look in peoples signitures and pm them and ask a few questions if you see a winch you like .
