i had one like that on my 450 when i bought it .....it was just held on with 4 u-bolts and not realy made very well but that was a warn so........the one from superatv may be different

to me there is no reason to buy that. if you current bumper is messed up make one or buy another one cheaper

Yea the "over bumper" idea is pretty lame. The stock bumpers on these things are tough. I added a few things to mine and its pretty much battle proof but none the less its still my stock bumper.

I think it's kind of ugly after removing the factory cover to install it. I like the description.

This is what I used on my 02 Rubi if you are going to use a bolt on bumper. It is very good in the brush and for protecting the lights.

NEW BRUSH GUARD GRILLE FRONT BUMPER 2001 HONDA RUBICON | eBay

I was also able to then add a bash plate to replace the plastic front guard that was removed from the Rubi.

BASH PLATE HONDA 2001-2004 500 RUBICON HIGHLIFTER NEW! | eBay

This works great on 01 - 04 Rubicons. I don't know what year you have.
