yep and one was about an inch short and didn't hold air the other was like this \ slanted

Im not a fan of'm at all really, I was just impressed with what those 589s went through... I didnt know their downfalls about how they were made though.

Yep, thats exactly what my buddies do with'm go through sloppy peanutbutter holes. Thats why I changed my mind about not liking ITP tires, like you said that paddled through it like nothing.

I have Kenda Bear claws on mine Good all around trai riding tire work decent in the mud

Maxxis Big Horns... a bit pricey, and a bit heavy, but will serve you well and were 2x about anything else on the market. You're not a rcer or a hustler, so chill with the best.
AND they give a very smooth ride, as they are radials.
BigHorns run a little large to size, so 26-10-12 front and rear should be very acceptable.
The 26-12-12 on the rear are fine too, but truely wide!!
Rocky Mountain normally has the best price/delivery.
