I'm new to the forum, and have searched many threads but cant find a definitive answer to my question.
I plan to upgrade wheels and tires on my 11 rubicon w power steering. I want to go with 14" ITP SS-212 wheels and a 27" tire. But I'm not sure that a 27" tire will fit without rubbing. My rubicon is stock. Can anyone give me a definitive answer as to the largest tire size I can run without a lift or rubbing. Also any recommendations about a tire would be great. I want something fairly aggressive. This will mainly be used for trail riding and some snow plowing. Thanks for your help, This place has been great about answering questions that I have had. |

Welcome to the forum. Most of the 27's will fit fine with no rubbing but some you might have to tweak the front fender support bar because it will rub a touch. I run MudBugs year around on mine and love them for an aggressive trail tire. Zillas would be another to look at and there are a ton others. I haven't had a chance to do a lot of riding in Nebraska but the little I have I know there is a lot of sand. If your in one of those areas that will make a difference also as some tires dig and others paddle when you get into the more aggressive tread.
