I have 29.5 skinny/wides on my foreman. To get them to fit I had to trim a couple inches off the back fender. I also had to get a highlifter fender kit for the front. It lets you take those inner braces out of the front fender wells. no matter how much bending I did I could never get them to stop rubbing. now as for as turning them I wouldnt do it on a rubicon. Like rich said there is no gear reduction for the rubi ( I think I heard one time there is like a 7% one but thats still not enough) I'm getting the 35% reduction put on my bike right now. It WOULD NOT turn them in anything but water before. So I would only recommed 28 skinnys on your rubi

that 7% was never proven to work bc cause the gear mesh, it was either too much or too less

Welcome dude!! Ya I don't think there is a whole lot you can do , I would just go with the 28s an play it safe!!!
