you will need the honda clutch puller to get to the timing chain on the lower end the part number in my clymer manual was the wrong puller so refer to the honda manual for the right puller its $180 or so but comes in handy

I've already got the tool, had to pull the clutch to replace the oil pump chain... I think I bought it online somewhere for around 60 bucks if I'm not mistaken.... I'm going to dig into it this sunday morning before my dolphins kick some bills ass!!! Then its beer and chicken wings

sometimes we ride at a place called the hump but that is in florida city. this past weekend we went to lcross in ockeechobee. should also be going to big cypress soon as the trails open if they have already. i just didnt all the stuff you are going to do to your rubi but did not mess with the crank and now that is what needs to be done. if its your timeing chain you can here it rattle on the head by the water pump. if it is knocking it can either be your wrist pin or your rod bearings. the rod bearing cannot be fix most likely you will need a whole crank. i dont have faith in the dolphins, i bleed red and blue and for college orange and blue good luck with the rubi keep us informed maybe we can help

Sounds just like what your saying right next to the water-pump, like i said it seems to go away with the higher RPM range, so I'm leaning towards the chain. The hump was pretty cool not much longer of a ride then it was for us to get to HoleyLand up there on the broward palm beach line.. I havent been to L-cross in quite a while, got kinda boring after going to RedneckYachtClub, great party but one mudhole just wasnt enough.. C&R was probably my favorite... RED & BLUE... Bills?? Patriots(Cheaters)???

bills.
l cross does a 20-25 mile trail ride now just for atv's its ok when your not overheating lol have not been to ryc yet its hard enough getting time to hit up l cross if you have the clutch puller then it shouldnt be to bad of a job its just getting to the chain that is the pain

HAHA funny you should mention overheating on the ride, first and only time I went me and another guy got half way through the **** thing and we bother we're done, waiting a while drakn a few beers and headed back to camp... RYC is cool man not really a whole lot further than L-cross but a whole **** of a lot more riding... did you see Coe play there, and did he sit down the whole time? Last time I saw him up there was like 6 or 7 years ago I believe **** of a good time... Last time I saw him was Delray beach and he sucked more than the time before that at the culture room.... he's still one of my favorites
