Default What Shocks Would You All Buy????

I have a 09 with 2200 miles and the springs are getting weak my wife rides on it with me most of the time. With the two of us and gear we be around 325lbs. I would like to get new shocks that would improve the ride and not bottom out so much. I have the stockers ajusted to the hardest setting.

You could probably get away with adding the Highlifter springs to it. They should make up for the added weight.

I have Highlifters on my bike and they are great. Very durable. Cheaper than new shocks and springs too. Superatv.com is where i bought mine.

Yea you're not kidding..... They're actually a "lift" spring but all they really do is take the sag out of factory springs and make the suspension stiffer so with the added weight it wont droop as much.

How much do you think i will gain in hight?? When were both on it it drops 3.5" so it is not leaving much room left to hit them bumps. I am the only one in our group that has a SRA and the rest have IRS but there all ways the first to complain that a trail is rough and i did not think the trail was that bad. If i can get it to not bottom out (Takes a good bump) I would be very happy with how it rides.

I gain about an 1 1/2" from mine. Little stiffer ride, but I dont worry about bottoming out.

I found the Highlifter springs and they say they only fit 07 and older. Are these the ones that will fit a 09 Part# SPRHR500FM for 79.88 for the rears.

Yep, I called HL about that a while ago just to make sure and they're all the same. Just do your order over the phone and the guys there will help ya out. They were super cool when I called, I didnt buy anything but if that was a reflection on customer service I would have to say its pretty good!
