I am having tranny problems. The gear indicator blinks and I can't go faster than about 20. When its in reverse it sputters. I turn it off and start it again and it will be fine for a few mins. I have the tranny reset sequence but it seems to be a temporary fix. Also what is a good size tire without sacraficing performance. And some motor mods? It's a TRX500 any help would
be greatly appreciated

You need to count the number of blinks, that is a code. The top of this section has the list and retrieval procedure (pinned topics).
