LRD all the way!! I had a Supertrapp that did very little, when I put the LRD on, it tore the bars out of my hands. The mid pipe is a lot bigger and the can flows faster. It is the same 96 db too. I guess you get what you pay for.

I installed the HMF Penland and love it! Definitely increased the power, sound is great without being obnoxious.

Well I have heard good about all of them, the LRD's are nice, but are the loudest from what I hear, and then the HMF swamp followed by the Utility, and the Big Gun would probably be close to the utility, but maybe a little quieter, and I have the big gun on my polaris, and I really like it, but I'd also check out supertrapp pipes

IMO you'll be happy with any of those, basically it's just pick your sound

LRD is quiet with the insert. I couldn't get my carb dialed in without it. It was just as loud as a HMF, now it is claimed 96 db legal with the quiet insert. Out of all the pipes I've had over the years on all my MX quads, this one is the best sounding, but not as quiet as the Supertrapp was, but close.

They are all the same. Honda changed the part number a little when they changed body styles in 05.
