on my '02 Rubicon,,,,,is there a way I could tell that it is bad or not?
I have the tensioner out right now because through some very helpful people I have been able to narrow some noise I was hearing down to the cam chain slapping around. I took the tensioner out and it seems to be solid with no springiness to it at all,,,is this normal? Id@ |

ok,,,,,I couldn't push it in with my hand, but if I turned the screw I could tighten it down to retract it,,,,,if I let the screw go it would snap back to an extended position.
is this right? Id@
