I think its probably normal, but i was looking for some input on this. Anyway my 07 rubi gets almost stuck in reverse sometimes if im backing up a hill and go to shift back to nuetral which i think is normal because the weight of the bike is going against it,however when this happens a rev limmiter also comes on, does anyone know if thats a safety feature to avoid sub tranny damage?

Mine does that sometimes. I found if i reverse up the hill in 4WD and use only the front brake it only does it every now & then. If i push the shifter forward at the same time as pulling the brake it won't do it at all.! Your right when you say its the weight of the bike locking up the transmission. I hope this helps? Keep us posted
