Default code 5 again.......

Ight i just replaced the angle sencer not even a month ago, and now it is comeing up code 5 again, but get this it will only do it when you put it in reverse, will not do it in d1, d2, or esp. i pulled it back down this past weekend and cleaned everything from top to bottom, pulled the control moter and checked the inside of it it had no signs of water ever being in it, the gear was stuck so i took a screwdriver and got it free. the angle sencer tested good and the contol motor works good when connected to the battery. i dont know what else to do besides take it to the honda shop and get charged an arm and a leg to get it fixed ........ help please

mine would do that (without the code) sometimes if the brake light/lever would stick on. might want to try to reinitialize the system and see if it helps.

mine did the same thing one time. it was the switch under the shifter. it was full of mud and the little switch aculator was bent. So I rebent it and works great ever since.
