if you talking about installing the springs, its farly simple. i just used a screw driver BUT, do not over strech the springs or they will not work as good.

Look in the "How To" section for the write-up on installing a clutch kit. If you stand the bike on end it it "farely" easy to install the new springs w/o removing the clutch and needing that tool.

That is incorrect. You MUST remove the clutch on a Honda Rubicon to change the springs. The rubicon's clutch springs are hidden inside the clutch behind a plate. You don't have to remove the clutch on a foreman 450. You have to use a honda or epi clutch puller to remove it. A 2 or 3 jaw gear puller will NOT work. The honda puller costs $70 and takes 7-10 days to order. Honda tools take longer to order than do the honda parts. Just load your quad on a trailer, take it to a honda shop, and let them use their puller on your bike. When you get to the point where you take the oil tank off, it is time. When you get to the honda shop, remove the case bolts, remove case, let them use an impact, let them pull clutch, change the springs and impact the clutch on, put case on, hand tight bolts, take home and finish. Many people do this. Should cost less than $30 for them to do that much work.

FYI - You either have to use an impact wrench or the proper Honda clutch holder tools to remove the 27mm nut that holds the clutch on before you pull it. Also, you need to replace that $5 nut since you have to unstake it. You can not restake that nut.

The centrifugal clutch springs on a TRX500FG/FA Rubicon are on the inside so the centrifugal clutch must be pulled to change them ..

Here are a couple of pics of the clutch .
