Default Syn. Oil Caused premature ring life??

Guys as youve probably seen recently my 420 has started smoking sometime back in Nov. and has never been sank. Everyone Ive talked to about it just says "man something aint right". I do ride the piss out of my bike but am super religous about the oil being changed every 3 rides (yes every 3). I just went in to the local shop and a guy heard me talking about it and mentioned that the bikes come from the shop with syn oil and that syn will not let the rings seat right causing them to fail early.
Well..I wasnt aware of that and have always ran Maxima ATV Premium 4-T 4-Stroke Oil | ATV | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC with a hi-flo filter Which is a regular atv oil. Guessing thats where I screwed up?

you should break in the motor with dino oil (200 to 500 miles but thats just me) then you can use the syn oil to youre harts content ..........
i agree somethings not right there even if you used syn from the get go .....

lol im not a hardcore syn oil guy or anything just thought id try it since its supposed to hold up to higher temps. I cant figure out what caused the smoke so early though, like i said never been drowned out/stalled. I mean I have a lot of miles on it from sabine 25+miles daily on sat & sun every weekend for the past year but that still shouldnt cause a rebuild this early. **** im just gonna UPS my top end to you and SS when i get ready to rebuild!

I went up and down our road babying it for days with it completly stock. I stayed in 3rd-4th gear mid throttle just letting it get some hours/heat built up. Guessing that was the wrong way huh?

don't most or all new cars and trucks....etc, have syn in them now a days?

heres a quote from one of the Most Technical builders I know....SOB builds his own Harley heads and pistons, jugs and all from blank blocks of aluminum! he just got done building a 142" shovelhead

yea glide they mostly do come with synthetic. Thats interesting about the 2hp diff though!

So guys what do i need to do? Is it possible to go back with standard rings? or do I have to bore? Im gonna do everything i can to keep from boring
