Recommend on new axle?

well i busted my axle on the outer joint on my front left axle, drives fine until i lock in 4wd then it pops, pulls and squeals. So what i wanna know is your opinion on going back stock vs aftermarket (what brand). Dont wanna spend $500 per axle but dont wanna be replacing every 6 months either..

try Rhino Axles.. had a buddy have some good luck with them.. still broke one, but he is turning 29.5's and a GR on his 420.. held up for about a year though until he caught a nasty undercut rut with a root in it and it just bound up the axle causing it to snap.. Much cheaper than the Gorillas and i believe they have a warranty..

When I broke mine, I bought a rhino. It only lasted about 3 months. They have a 1 year warranty but you have to pay 50 bucks everytime you send one back. Well in a years time I broke 3 rhinos on the left while my stock one held up fine on the right. I'd go back oem if I had to do it again.

think im going back stock, I was just reading that cody. Its not much of a warranty having to pay $50 everytime. Stock has done good up until now so ill stick with that. Next project is rings/piston

STI Slasher Axles are a good alternative to stock and can be had for about $120 each. They are available through MTA Parts dealers.
