Default Grinding noise in the front and shifting problems

Hi i have a 2004 rancher 400, i bought the bike second hand and it seems that when driving in automatic it will sometimes not up shift and over rev the engine. In esp shift (thumb shift) it usually works pretty good do. What could be causing this? And when i do sharp turns, drift, donuts ect the bike will have this bad grinding noise in the front.. Please help sounds like if something is going to break so i stopped riding it for a while until i figure it out.

Sounds like a cv or bearing in the front grinding. Does that bike have a clutch adjustment? That may be out of whack or the electric shift program may need tuning.
