Default I got 2 questions here..?

Ok ive been asking around a lot lately about different things, but hey thats why i came here..To learn more about honda atvs & aftermarket accessories, and i really appreciate all the help.

I have a 3000lb winch that i bought from tractor supply and was wondering how i could make it all waterproof? I don't think its waterproof already (not sure) but I want to make it waterproof since i go mudding alot, so anyone got any solutions..? Here is a link to see the winch i have -- Champion Power Equipment 3,000 lb. Winch Kit - 1834096 | Tractor Supply Company

Also, I am interested in ordering some blue lights for my rancher and don't know what to get. Im looking at these lights on motosport and was wondering whats the difference between the first 6 choices for the putco premium halogen bulbs.. Here is another link to see -- Utility ATV Bulbs for your 2008 Honda RANCHER 420 4X4 | Motosport
As you can see on the website there are 6 lights that I'm interested in but i dont know whats the difference between all of them. There is a PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB 893, PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB H40/BA20D, PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB H10, PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB 881, PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB 880, and PUTCO PREMIUM HALOGEN BULB H4.
Now, as you probably notice, Im confused because they all look the same in the picture except 1, but they all have same name but a different number (H10, H40/BA20D, 893, H4, and ect..)
The reason I ask, is because i want to choose from those 6 choices and get the best blue bulb thats the brightest and overall the best bulb lol. (Good color, works good, and the brightest one so i can see better)

Thanks for any help. I hope im not confusing anyone else.

dude, you gotta take your existing bulbs out to see what they are. 883's are different from 880's. and h4's are different from h10's. you understand? and as far as your winch goes...well, if it doesn't say "fully sealed", then you just use 'em til' they quit. i don't know of any winch sealing secrets.

Well as for the winch it doesnt say anything about being waterproof. So if it isnt the best thing I could tell you.... Take off as many bolts as you can to safely get it some what apart and seal everything up with RTV and put a generous amount or dielectric grease around the motor and all connections.

For the bulb thing. Those are just generic "stock" photos,.... not the actual bulb that is mentioned. I do believe you would have to do a retrofit to get something good.
As a referance this is the bulb thats in your machine..

I would leave the winch for awhile and then tear it apart. You should be able to see the problem areas after it's been dunked a few times. The end piece probably has a gasket or a lip built in so it should be pretty water resistant. The gears should be greased enough to keep the crap out for a while. It's a good idea to take it apart once or twice a year just to check it out and re grease everything (think of it as service work like changing your oil).

Ok, I see what you all mean about the bulbs and for sealing the winch regularly like changing oil.

And chances are tractor supply will help you out if something goes wrong.

No, that shouldnt be necesary. Superwinch is a sealed winch and doesnt require it.
