I have the 2012 have not messed with suspension but put 40 miles on it pretty stiff compared to the 360 prairie I traded for it. Overall happy with the Rancher seems to be trade offs in all machines. I chose the power steering over the ride, Prairie had stiff steering and power fell off at about 40 mph. Prairie did have more plush ride and seat. When temp rises a little here in ohio will adjust shocks an see if less stiff.

Update last weekend was nice mine is the sra model backed off the rear shock only to the lightest position. I know honda suggests 2nd notch and I am a heavy guy. It was a soft mudd day and the bike definatley rode better, still not Polaris soft but improved. My next project is to soften up seat for all day rides. Now with nearley 80 miles on it beginning to feel mid range torque likin it.
