Default clicking behind battery

Hi guys. I'm new to posting to this forum, but not to this site have been watching for awhile. My problem.. I have a 2007 rancher 4X4 es, have not ever had any problems with it until a day or two ago. Was charging battery because it had been awhile since I have rode. Left charger on all night. The next day when you turn on the key there is a constant clicking sound behind the battery. Its not the starter solinoid, its some sort of relay right beside it that has 8 wires running in to. Was wonder if I replace this will it solve my problem? Bar flashing constantly where gear selction is. Starter button and gear shift will not work. but if you turn the lights on clicking stops and fuel injection works but the lights don't come on. And what was possible cause of this.

Thanks

A new battery sounds like a good starting point.

Get the battery load tested, most places that will sell you a battery will do that for free. If the battery checks weak start there.

Welcome to the forum.
