Default Help! Having trouble starting

I have a rancher 2000 and lately I have been having trouble with starting the bike. A few years ago with put a toggle switch on the bike as a bypass to start it Recently during hunting season the bike would not start but the pull starter was working. Yesterday I was on the bike had no problems and a few hours on it on got off left the bike running while I was Filling my food plots and the bike died. At first I tried to start it all I heard was clicking. I used the pull start and it started right up. Drove about 5 minutes and the bike died while coming down a mountain and nothing would start it. The pull starter wasn't working and all I heard was the clicking. The lights was very dim and then shut off completely. There is a brand new battery in the bike. I replaced it after the first time it did this( I bought the bike brand new in 2000 and never replaced the battery this was the first). Now I have no power and it won't even pull start. Please help. I think it might be the solenoid, could be regulator

put a battery charger on it and see you can get it to start . if you can get a volt meter on the battery and see what its charging at ,running (it should be 13.1 to 14.2 normal )

Thank you for the welcome message and the quick post. I'm going to try to charge it and then see if I can try and figure out the voltage. This really shouldn't be an expensive fix but I got to do it ASAP. Second bow season starts December 26
