The purpose of seafoam is to break down carbon build up & clean the fuel system...if it wasn't great for motors, I doubt so
many people would run it in vehicles that they have many thousands of dollars invested in. There are many who run it in every
tank to keep the system clean.

It would create the smoke you want, but as you use it, the smoke would decrease due to less burn off. It kept my 11 second
street truck in tip top condition. People run it everyday in everything from motorcycles, lawn mowers, tractors, sleds, & atvs.
Gas or diesel, it doesn't matter. Just an FYI. Sea Foam | Motor Treatment

I know guys that have installed smoke/fog machines for added effects during car shows if you're concerned about your motor/muffler.

We did something similar to what you have done. We took the windshield wiper resivore and bleeched it out and filled it with Windsor liquor and ran the tube into the cab of the truck. So when we cruised around with friends I would ask if they wanted a shot. Flipped down the glove box door and told them to put the hose into there mouth and hit the windshield wiper button on the column.Worked great till the alcohol destroyed the pump, or needed to clean the windshield.
