Question Rejetting a rancher?

hey, i just bored my cylinder along with new valves,piston,valve seals now i am wating to know if i should rejet my carb what are the advantages of bigger/smaller jets i dont have a snorkel and i will be using it for hunting. does rejetting make it easier to start during the winter? any opinions welcome

Rejetting will be fast throttle response. As far as easier cold starts, it wont really make a difference. I'm not sure of that though.

what size jet did you go with? i know its different for different quads

Most of the time, you rejet to compensate for the increased air flow of an aftermarket pipe and filter. If you're not careful, you will make your air/fuel ratio too rich. If you're just looking for easier starts, you might be able to just bump up the pilot jet a size, but it depends on how it will run then. I wouldn't mess with the main jet unless you have an aftermarket pipe and/or filter.
