Default How-to: Hook up Warn Trail Lights?

I have a 2010 Honda Rancher 420 FE. It does not have the 12 volt outlet. I just purchased some Warn Trail Lights to mount on the front. Where do I run the wiring to? Can I run it to the battery or do I have to buy the 12 volt accessory kit from Honda? I am trying to avoid doing that if possible. Help me out guys! Thanks! -Jake (TredNecks)

I wouldnt see a problem with going straight to the battery as long as you throw an inline fuse on the thing!!! We ran straight to the battery on my 05 400at to bypass the fan switch and have it on manual! Just locate the ground on the engine block and run a hot lead from the positive terminal on your batt.

On the front right side of the radiator cover is the wire for the acc plug (if added). I would tap into that wire and it will be already fused. White w/ black stripe is the wire you would want, green is ground.
