I picked up a 4x4 350 rancher. it needs tires badly. right now it has the stock tires/rims. 12 inch rims and 11 inch rims....think the 11 are in the back. i looked it up and the ones that are on there at the correct ones.
i have someone that has brand new wolferine rims and tires....they are 12" rims front and back, only thing that might concern me is they are only 23" rims vs 24 stock.....

im paying 150 for the full set of rims and tires.
here are the sizes.....
Front: AT23 x 8-12 radial with aluminum wheels
Rear: AT23 x 10-12 radial with aluminum wheels

it will only be trail written not on pavement. i've read a few posts that mentioned having different size tires is not good on a 4x4, but why is that honda stock put different size tires on there from the factory.

at such decent deal I figured going from a 24 to 23 should be that big of a drop.

thoughts? dont do any major wheeling in mud/rivers/sink holes etc.....just dirt on trails.

if the rims will bolt up, id say go for it. going to 23's will lower your ground clearance slightly but if you dont do too much hardcore wheeling i wouldnt stress it, they may make your gears seem shorter but probally not even enough to notice.

and what kills a 4x4 is having a different overall diameter on the tires, like 23s on the front and 24's on the back, that would be bad on the drivetrain
