just purchased a rancher 350. rode for 2 hours got hot acted like it ran out of gas. thought it was bad gas-cleaned carb tank and sprayed brake clean in carb still no start. is getting spark. any thoughts? could it be cdi box? PLEASE HELP.

also it try to run for a sec backfire a couple times and then shut off timing maybe?

Found the problem its low on compression only 30psi now why is it low ???? is there any reasonable performance upgrades while the engine is apart????

mines doin something similar to that......can it be the valves???

I pulled the engine down looks like it was lean and had been very hot because the exhaust side had oil baked to the rocker arm set up.still didn't see where it was loosing compression i will do more digging later
