Here are some specs on Honda's.

The 420 is a whole new engine from Honda. When you compare it to the air cooled series that have been before it, you can expect more HP per cc. Almost as much as the 500's HP output. Liquid cooled and Fuel Injection mean more constant power throughout changing temp. and elevations..

Plug you've got it in a lighter chassis and you get front disks.

BTW - Does anyone know the torque of a 500?

Honda:
Rincon 650: 39hp
Foreman 450: 24hp 580lbs
TRX 300: 16hp
400EX: 27hp
TRX420: 26.2hp @ 6000rpm / tq 23.8 lb/ft at 5500 rpm / 560lbs
TRX500: 26.7hp
300EX: 21hp
TRX450R: 42hp
Motocross Bike: CRF450R 55hp 220lbs

07 Rancher 420 5 spd (Perfex LT kit, HMF Utility pipe & Optimizer, Uni Filter, ported & milled head, 60W bulbs in stock location, 100w center spot, Horn
26" studded BearClaws for winter, Ricochet Swing-Arm Skid)
Adult & Kids Moto-X bike
04 KFX400 (pipe, jetted, Uni Filter, skids, 22" Bearclaws) Going everywhere the big bores with diff-lock go and more, and doing it at 1/5 the $.
