Electrical System Explained-How to

I found this the other day while looking for the basic Differences for 6 & 8 Gauge wires for the new Warn Winch (other than the obvious) to turn the XT25 into a XT30.

This is a Great write up with lots of photos explaining what to do & more Importantly what not to do Like using black tape as wire covering when shrink tubing should be used...Etc, it's actually about wiring lights on a jeep, but most of the procedures can be applied to almost anything.

it touch's on things like "What are Volts, Watts, Amps and Ohms, and why do I care" it's 3 pages long, so their should be something for everybody, from our most advanced members, to the guys just starting out!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Pretty good article, probably a must read for anyone novice to 12VDC electrical systems. One very important thing to remember, which the article touches on, is Ohm's Law.
