The other night i was in creative mode and got to lookin at how the reverse on my 400 was hooked up and descided to tear it apart and mod it and make it more use friendly

1. pull handle pivot bolt out
2.unhook brake cable
3.remove where the reverse cable hooks up
4.take out trusty sawzall
5.cut piece under brake handle on straight edge,I.e clamped in vise and use jaw as straight edge for sawzall
6.hook old back break lever on reverse cable install the spacer you made ontop of brake lever bolt back together and test

I believe he's sayin he dont have to push down on the reverse button.If so, that would be awesome,espcially in the winter when wearing mittens

Zip tie works too... no cutting and easy to undo.

i wanted somethin permanant as i have no back hand brake it always hung up

instead of having a back hand brake cable i used the lever on the reverse cable

Your saying you still have to pull the lever but dont have to push the button?

yeah just grab the lever and shift down

Now thats pretty sweet, reverse is a pain when I got the kids loaded up. PLease post some pics asap!
